Civil Wedding Ceremonies
Civil Weddings are becoming increasingly popular and enable you to organise your entire day under one roof. In Skegness Lincolnshire this means that The Crown Hotel are able to help you plan virtually every aspect of your special day. Guests are able to relax and meet informally before the Ceremony. You can choose whatever (non-religious) music that you want prior to the Ceremony (yes, even heavy metal if you wish!) and still organise flowers for the function room. The Bride and Groom can dress traditionally or casually, and the Bride can still have a Bridal procession if she wishes.
For the Ceremony, the Registrar can provide traditional vows or you can (subject to the Registrar's approval) even write your own words. After the Ceremony, photographs can be taken, either in our secluded private garden or in the Hotel if the weather is less than helpful. Finally, everyone can proceed to the Reception, without having to leave the building. The fact that guests do not have to drive around trying to find the church and then having to find the reception venue, makes your day much easier to organise.
Please remember that the £150.00 charge for the room for the Ceremony does not include any charges payable to the Registrar (Licence and attendance fees etc).
